Had a great, but wet ride today at the beach! Richard and Sharon came out to brave driving rain and strong winds from the west to log a 25-mile ride worthy of recording in the record books! Great ride guys! Great camaraderie and stories were shared over a post ride cup of coffee and plans for the next ride made. As a side note, I finally figured out the reason for pro cyclist wearing the shoe covers. When it starts raining those shoes that breathe so well and let our feet stay cool, also leaks like a sieve and holds water like a bowl!
